1. Performing a comprehensive review of the patient’s medical history in relation to his/her catastrophic injury.
2. Provide an on-site home visit to the patient to assess his/her functional status, the living environment and to complete a comprehensive interview with the patient and his/her family to determine future medical and non-medical needs.
3. Consultation with all treating providers of care (physicians, therapists, etc.) for lifetime recommendations of treatment, medical supplies, equipment and assistive devices for promotion of independent functional living.
4. Contact with providers of care and vendors of all projected items and services for cost comparison and replacement/frequency schedules, as well as, product information.
5. Provide detailed narrative report summarizing the patient's past, current, and future medical issues related to their catastrophic injury. An itemized cost projection table is completed to determine life damages for settlement.
