• Review and analysis of medical records to screen for merit by identifying deviations and/or adherences to Standards of Care.
  

• Interpret medical information in the medical records and develop comprehensive medical summary reports to aid in the litigation process.
  

• Create detailed timelines utilizing the Case Soft program and Time Map to point out significant events with colorful visuals.
  

• Expertise in conducting extensive medical research to support expert opinions and provide treaties from respected bodies on the healthcare issues in the case.
  

• Identify deviations and/or adherences to the Standards of Care and explain their relevance in the case.
  

• Prepare detailed medical summary reports outlining medical events and explanation of injuries or illnesses.
  

• Provide illustrations in reports to visualize anatomy & physiology of injury and/or illness.
  

• Attend IME’s and provide written reports regarding the examination.
  

• Identify probable defendants related to the case.
  

• Provide education regarding medical facts and explain how it correlates to the allegations in the case.
  

• Assist in identifying missing documentation and evidence of tampering in the medical record.
  

• Chronologically organize medical records into binders which are indexed and paginated to provide a workable case file and clear perspective of the facts.
  

• Provide expert review and testimony in areas of expertise in emergency medicine, long-term care, general medical-surgical and day-stay surgical cases.
